About Us
Our mission is to establish, maintain, carry on, manage and develop Church of England schools across the Diocese of London. The aim of the Trust is that every child should have the opportunity to flourish and develop into a rounded adult who can live life to the full.
The initial LDBS Academies Trust ('LAT') was created in 2012 with five schools spread across the London Borough of Haringey. It has since grown to contain eight schools and a 2-site nursery, spread across the London Boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Haringey.
Continuous interest in joining our family of schools led to the creation of the LDBS Academies Trust 2 ('LAT 2'), a separate legal entity which allowed the Trust family to expand into West London, currently made up of a school based in London Borough of Hounslow and one in Spelthorne (Surrey).
The group of Trusts (internally often referred to as "LATMAT") operates as one single family of schools, with cooperation and knowledge-building across all of the schools, supported by one small central team.
All LATMAT schools are proud of their relentless focus on providing young people an excellent start in life in a Christian context and delighted that OFSTED have recognised this fact-based dedication to both outcomes and the whole child in their evaluations.
